I fucking loathed that game. No character arcs, awful use of worn tropes, combat's not strong enough to carry a game that long, worldbuilding restricted to lectures from a character in your base, "mature" storyline for 13 year old edgelords, pointless exploration, gear is just straight upgrades.

And Im starting to get tired of it. As a rule, these games are all impeccably well made, but Im starting to miss that era when PlayStations range felt wider and things were a little more fun.
The realisation that so many PlayStation games have explored the same grim story themes struck me when playing through Sucker Punchs new Ghost of Yotei.

Rescue efforts are under way in the remote Tibetan slopes of Mount Everest where a snowstorm has trapped nearly 1,000 people in campsites on the eastern side of the mountain, according to Chinese state media.

An Alaskan climbing influencer has died after falling from El Capitan, a famous vertical rock formation in California's Yosemite National Park.
Balin Miller, 23, was live-streamed on TikTok ascending and subsequently falling from the monolith on Wednesday.

If you keep in mind that she's a throwback to the original 1960s series then she's not so bad. Sort of a way for the show to pit the old way vs the new.

that's what immediately came to mind is they were trying to recreate the dynamic between the doctor and Spock in TOS, but It just doest work as well
