I'm job hunting. Some of the analyst positions I've seen require additional training (and definitely review). I'm looking at Power BI and SQL as examples. Are there any good platforms that don't cost a lot where I can learn and review these things? I learned enough to get hired as a BI Developer from hammering a free trial of SQL on Codeacademy. I'd been working with data in Excel and had been on the customer side of Power BI for a while so I had other experience but the career module on there covered WAY more than the work I've done in my BI developer job. The analyst stuff, idk man pick up Excel and make sure you know how to use tables and a bit of power query. the education out there is super rough for it because Excel has developed so much since 2016 but if they tell you you need SQL or PowerBI to do the analysis they're lying to you --- Born to bear and bring to all the details of our ending To write it down for all the world to see |
