That's hilarious. Elden Ring is superior in every fashion except for invasions which are garbage anyway. Dark Souls 2 also has some of the worst hit detection of any Fromsoft game. It is legit laughable at times.

ehh, to each their own man. sure the bosses aren't great in the base game but that's really my only complaint. I love DS2. I think a lot of the criticisms are way over blown because it was impossibly hard to live up to (the first half) of DS1 and people were upset it wasn't a carbon copy.

You can take a linear path straight through the game if that's what you want to do. You're always pointed to where you need to go next. That's how my first playthrough went. Now I'm playing it and taking my time exploring each area. Boggles my mind that anyone would put DS2 above ER. I like DS2 but aside from the build and fashion variety it doesn't have much going for it.

I'd easily put DS2 over ER. like it's not even close lol.

ER is a great game, I'm glad I went back and finished it but I agree with the poster before you. starting new characters on ER is such a slog because of the open world. No covenants was a bummer and I hated how a majority of boss fights were clearly made for 2+ people/mimic tear help.

I'm cool w that, I've mentioned that before, having separate matchmaking for them. kinda like how if you get banned you can only play with other banned people.

but idk, I feel it's just gonna lead to more problems, more complaining like wahhh I wanna play with my friends who's not in easy mode. once you open the gates, it's never enough.

how is it fair that a person playing on easy mode can breeze through the game, get all this banging ass equipment and then proceed to invade other players who have yet to reach that level? I'm now handicapped because I wanted to play the game how's it's been since day 1 and you get to now fuck my shit up with your easy mode. it's bad enough that players bum rush end game equipment so they can grief at level 10, and you also want to give them an easy mode? yeah that'll go over well.

if you want easy mode then no invasions, no coop imo. you're on easy mode, what do you need coop for?

I legit cannot express my disappointment with #2. Right on par with Halloween Kills.

I saw both of It Chapter 1 and 2018 Halloween in theaters multiple times, again when they released for home viewing and was so hyped for the sequels.... I was floored at how bad both were. Soul crushingly bad.

I still haven't watched nor plan on watching Halloween Ends after that catastrophe.

Yea I agree except theres a difference when you're advocating against an easier mode of rhe game being included in addition to the regular. That just becomes spite at that point and wanting to feel more elite for playing.

An easier game mode can't co-exist in Dark Souls, I don't know why this is always brought up. People will just use it for smurfing and blowing through the game to get OP gear so they can fuck every one on invasions. Unless the easy mode game players were locked out of matchmaking then that brings in an entirely new problem.

Multiple difficulties is simply not possible.

2 cost cards and 3 cost cards take a lot of committal, and need to be worth more than twice a 1 cost card to play in most cases. Similarly, 0 cost cards and energy generation is VERY good

I've been playing The Silent more with how many 0 cost cards they have but it seems like you have to get a lot of stacking damage going because I feel they don't have many cards with a large damage output. like I love the Backstab card, it's innate and does 15DMG upgraded so I love getting a few of those if I can. but then they get exhausted and I'm kinda screwed after my first turn.

Still struggling to consistently get past the second act. I've beaten it once and get beat down pretty much every other time I've attempted it.
