It has nothing to do with gamestop itself really, just that they were shorted to begin with, maybe more than others like amc, and that yes it needs a cult-like people to see it through, hence, gamers.

yes as I said in the other topic the question whether there are artificial shares or not is important.

I never liked gamestop much and also did not like the new shares from today though.

I think you're right - but those were before he became a messianic figure to all these people. Keith's lived a literal "Life of Brian" moment where a religion spontaneously gathered around him despite him doing nothing. Everything he said in his old livestreams is unrelated to what the gamestop following turned into. definitely complicated. I think the main issue and point of contention is if there are artificial shares in existence. But that's probably not really what others see as important about it.

think of it like this:

they sell GME today at 40 a share

later on investor confidence is down, stocks dropping to $20 again, they buy the stocks back and it goes up

just one example of what cash on hand does

it makes sense for gamestop but it's not like they need more money or good impression for something to happen when it could have happened today. This move could make people reconsider more than if they have a bit less money.

I decided to come back and build a new deck for competitive. It's been having amazing success.

Also I have more gems than I know what to do with. Probably almost 20k since I have so many gifts waiting. There is absolutely nothing I want to buy tho so I may just continue my quest to get a royal finish necrovalley

main deck looks toxic enough but maybe some other extra deck cards? Like, 2 cowboy in the current year?

that's kind of a waste if you never intended to eat them.

if you're 90 % done then your game is far from finished, think you need to reach 150 % and maybe that makes it easier to work on it until you stop at 140 %.

As a solo dev with skills you need to make your first game as good as possible, if it should have some sales.

I don't know why your grandma should be mostly your responsibility and not your parents, more money is always nice of course but I don't think you should feel too guilty about it.

Deflation incentivizes people to just hang on to the money they have, since your money just accumulates more and more value for nothing. You want money moving through the system, not just sitting unused.

there was deflation and the economy was awful but I would have to find something that explains how they are related. On first glance it looks like the trouble of the companies who cut jobs was because it was harder to get new credits after the bad house credits.

Deflation tends to lead to other bad things like high unemployment, lower wage growth, etc.

deflation is just the opposite of inflation no?
