Theres a silver lining to these kinds of occurrences. Volcanic activities such as this actually produce extremely fertile soils and even some growth for the lands that they happen upon. The fact that there arent any casualties is also a plus.

Tons of public places tend to play Fox News and CNN over their televisions both right wing networks, CNN is mid right wing, Fox is extreme right wing so one side will say the liberals are treating Trump unfairly and the other side is saying the liberals are maybe kinda making mountains out of molehills to whatever Trump does and says and the average person will think "Man, those liberals really hate Trump for no real reason" and not think much deeper than that and because Trump is constantly in the news being bombarded with propaganda like that as well as knowing more about Trump than about Biden and the average now has a sympathy bias for Trump and a negative view of Biden because problems in their lives be it personal of money wise will likely be blamed on Biden because he's the president now so this shit is happening under his fault and so on.

Through I can only speak as a Texan, there's no a single public area that plays MSNBC in this state it's all Fox News and CNN, propaganda not only works, it works so well that even people who aren't extremists fall for it because they are blasted with it every day, sometimes for hours on end for those who work in those public spaces with TVs that either can't be manipulated by them or flat out have rules that they MUST be on those channels, when I was younger I worked for a fast food place whose TV was always on CNN, the remote was in the kitchen but there was a strict rule that the TV must always be on CNN, even if we were on break and nobody was coming in we could not change the channel.
