The FX is awesome; it's kinda how I imagined the Exia to be once they hyped it as the 'Seven Swords'. I also half-expected Romary to slap Asemu. Not sure about the person in the vat- possibly someone new. Storyboard for that last minute was all kinds of random. Yeah I feel like everything in AGE is coming to a boil before the final stretch; I'm excited. I just hope it won't be a complete UNDERSTANDING ending. I kinda like how AGE is almost a post turn A setting. They're pulling it off with the right amount of ambiguity. Vagan Nu Wing Zero is awesome, but it hasn't gone 100% yet. AGE is really heating up. I am really excited for the direction it's heading. I'm glad you love Macross Saro, but this is the best BGM: Robotech got me in to Macross and mecha in general, so I have a soft spot for it. I think the story is probably the best they could do given their situation (Southern Cross blew pretty hard though; the SDF-1 turned into 3 huge tree stumps for example). Still, the voice acting and soundtrack to Robotech are stellar. I'd say this week's AGE might be the best ep of AGE 3 so far.
But they could have not shown the same Guncannon firing on 3 or 4 occasions. That's just plain laziness. I found Swaile's Setsuna to be good, although the part could have been cast better. His Quatre was pretty bad; it just didn't fit the character. BEATED Vifam through ep 7. It's a neat series so far. It borrows the monolith from 2001 (but is there a Sunrise production that doesn't borrow from 2001?), and treats the alien race as superior technologically to humanity. So the mooks don't feel like mooks (at least not yet).
And while most of the cast is comprised of children, I'm not getting that facepalm sensation like I do when viewing 0079 Amuro or Kamille, which is very relieving. So far I'd give it a solid 8/10. I just built a gaming machine some 4 months ago (total cost with OS came out to roughly $1300), so hopefully I can help.
When comparing the i7 to the i5, the only difference is a .1 GHz clock speed increase, more L3 cache, and a larger price tag. So if you're approaching your budget, consider a downgrade. This is the graphics card I got: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127608 It alone can run pretty much everything on max setting with a smooth frame rate. It's also SLI supported so you can add another one in a 5 years when it starts slowing down. But make sure that when you get your power supply you pick one that can handle the 2 cards. Zero kinda approaches the whole 'technology so advanced it's pretty much magic' thing with the bird human. Which, *spoilers*, was a Protoculture mech? But if you're talking about the ending, then yes. It was kinda 'wut'. Personally, I'd like to see more stuff concerning the protoculture. Maybe have a series surrounding their collapse and the creation of the Zentradi.
Frontier is 100% fan service. Does that make it bad? Maybe. I think it's good. The action is terrific. The concerts are eye-gasms. They're really creative in that department. That's pretty much what Dougram is. I found the overall tone of Dougram to be between MSG and VOTOMS, which makes sense since it was produced between the two (all are Sunrise productions and Dougram/VOTOMS were directed by Takahashi).

Yeah, there's a reason Kakizaki's VF colors are just the inverse of the default's. And when I saw that part for the first time I literally busted out laughing since my friend and I joke around about his ineptitude so much. But the scene itself is just built hilariously.
