in other news, thank god for demos. if it wasn't for Mutant Mudds' recently released demo, i never would've found out that it was a shallow overpriced retro chic indie game where the only good thing about it is the music without buying it

The main protagonist obnoxiousness is turned up to 11 on what was a scale of 10. The designs are horrible. There's moments where the art looks like John Kricfalusi's style of closeups, except the manga is 100% serious. The manga bloats itself by giving characters unnecessary backstory that doesn't add to them at all.

But I'm weird. I like the movie the most out of the three. Maybe it's because of Beat Takashi or the fact that I prefer my sociopaths to have as little explanation of what made them that way.
