My first time through I played the whole game on moderate.
Currently on a second play through where I am on the highest difficulty available to me (believe chaos is the last one?). Note this is not ng+ so no so bonuses or anything.
**Spoilers if you guys are still marking those.**
Had to use my first All-Divide on Emeraude. Almost did on Kurt because my AI strategies kept focusing the high health ever respawning minions, but I slugged it through. Emeraude's snap kill thing just did insane amounts of damage though.
From: Achromatic | #271 Also if your team doesn't have damage 45 minutes in then uh yeah.
There's the ringer. If we let them go, they were just going to take inhib and push right up to nexus turrets. Waiting for them to get cocky and catch one or two of them in jungle or something was just not an option.
They were at inner tower, you saying that I just give up objectives 45 minutes into the game because I recognize that my team doesn't do damage very well?
Though apparently I can't carry a game no matter how hard I try if none of my team does any damage. Literally had the perfect initiate on enemy team under our tower, everyone jumped in on their damage dealers like they should, and we get aced. I enjoy being a tank, but it is SO frustrating if no one has the DPS to support me.
So last night I had a really long win streak..... going random pick. Heimer was surprisingly fun. Also, I carried so hard as Malphite that I kept playing him and doing well. Team got really outplayed in the last game, and I felt discouraged, but I really think Malphite may be my favorite champ now, after only a couple games.
From: Luis_Sera89 | #098 You probably won't see Varus much in competitive play. When you're using his Q, you're reducing his all-round dps by not auto-attacking. If you just auto-attack, you aren't getting the extra Blight damage that he needs to compete with the likes of Graves and Vayne. It's a vicious circle.
Can't you just use Q as a blight proc/auto attack canceler though? No one said you HAVE to charge it to full every time. Though it's still there as a great poke when a tower is under siege.
It's funny because I said I would be available for the next game, and now I've got a bit of drama in my life which may involve not having internet for a good portion of time, so I can't sign up. D:
I need to start playing with some b8ers soon, huh? Never once stepped foot into the b8 channel. Though I can't really play right now with this patch. Every time I try to join a fight I immediately drop down to 15 fps, and in bigger teamfights, where clicking is most important, it goes down to 3 fps. Never happened before, and a lot of other people reporting the same thing. Guess I'll just take a break for now.
I agree with Kanz' explanation of things, but to go with the whole "name only" approach, there are still some names that need to be handled certain ways. For example, if you name your character Ares, and he isn't warlike at all, I'm gonna look down on you. You don't even need to reference any other part of his mythology, but that's what the name of Ares embodies.
But I've never been so picky. The only name I've ever thought as a "bad" choice in fiction was Adam, because apparently no character is named Adam on accident. Along with Kanz' rules above, this leads to very few stories where Adam is legitimately a proper name for a character.
I think that was the best game that we've gotten so far. I would appreciate more puzzle, less running around though. I had the same problem with the Iguana skull, and only found it because I realized the seed pod had apparently ZERO effect. So I scoured the area.
I believe Kouli DID have one, but there's now a big fuss because he's asking $10 for his guides. Took them off GameFAQs too. A lot of the Graces board is really up in flames over him.
Funny because he's always been this type of ass, but I still think he's pretty awesome.
It's suddenly occurred to me that those angel silhouettes look an awful lot like God Tier characters. Did we ever actually see the angels that Eridan slew? I know he talked about how they were extremely difficult to kill, yet he still did so. And then he had relative ease killing non-God tier characters during the session.
Angels possibly something to do with dream bubble characters!?
Dream Bubble characters possibly something to do with giving Eridan his wwhite magic that allowed all that s*** to go down!?
I've really been spreading myself thin with roles. >_>
I play a lot of Alistar/Soraka when I queue. I like to play Ashe when I get the chance (+Graves now that he's free) I've jungled as Udyr/Fizz a couple times and intend to keep doing so. If I have to go top, I like Mundo/Sion/Garen.
I don't really like to go AP Mid, so I usually do whatever's on the free week if I have to.
Does that help whatsoever?
Otherwise I think I'd be going Lopen's suggestion mostly on an AD route.
