Sonic/Mario? See my previous post. This is a big rivalry for gamers, but within games... it's pretty low key, they've only been actual rivals in the same series for like 2 games. And one of them was Sonic and Mario at the Olympics (lol), the other they weren't even specifically rivals... they just happened to be in the same game.

Snake/Big Boss or Snake/Ocelot or Big Boss/The Boss - This one is a much better example, I think. I'd personally just go with Snake/Ocelot though, but this one is a bit tricky.

Ryu/Ken and Ryu/Akuma would also be something to consider, I think... And it might actually be an issue given the recent revival fighters have seen.

Any other ideas?

Is the contest limited to actual in-game rivalries, storyline wise? Or is it rivalries in gaming as a whole, both in games and outside of the games themselves? Because reading the rules it really seems like the former. It specifically mentions that the Antagonist should be from the same game/series, etc. If it is the former, all this talk about Sonic is pointless. Sonic and Mario's actual in game rivalry is what... the Olympics game and SSB?

Sonic and Mario are definitely rivals in the world of gaming, but until recently it has been limited to sales of games/consoles. It is a horrible example.

Eh? It's stupid either way. The lack of spacing and indication of what is what is a real issue. The name is generally (and by generally, I mean pretty much always) separated from the physical address. They fall on separate lines. In addition, there shouldn't be a #2 at the beginning of the address. Using # is usually saved for apartment or suite numbers. In that case, it should fall at the end of the address. If it is the house or building number, it can go at the beginning and should drop the #. This isn't some ethnocentric "This is how 'murika does it this is how it should be" stuff either, we're talking about Puerto Rico. They're serviced by the USPS and use the same address standards as the rest of the states.

He could be writing it as you are thinking, with 150 being the house number. That would make the address:

Victor Rojas
150 Calle 1 (like, 150 1st street)
Blah Blah City, State, Zip

Alternately, the 150 may be the apartment number. Note the number 2. It comes before the street name, which would be fairly standard for both PR and the States really. In that case it would be written as:

Victor Rojas
2 Calle 1 Casa 150 (2 1st Street, APT 150)
Blah Blah City, State, Zip

The way he wrote it is definitely ass looking though, especially with no spaces or line breaks.

Gary is pretty bad if only for the fact that they have a pretty damn high number of murders, yet only have like 80k population. Then there's the fact that it's just a bad city. Even if you weren't likely to be murdered at a stop light in broad daylight (with tons of witnesses who couldn't remember anything, no less!), it is still a boring, ugly city.

Yeah, we're racists because Gary is an asstastic city. The tons of crime, heavy gang activity, and high murder rate? That's fine. The generally run down, ****ty appearance of the city? Definitely doesn't impact our opinions. It's gotta be the black people!

Who Am I? should be ahead of Rush Hour, and IIRC The Accidental Spy should be ahead of Rush Hour 2 (if you go by original release, not just US release). Also, why no Crime Story? I know it isn't goofy fight scene overload like his other movies, but it is actually one of his better films IMO.

Also, may as well toss in Winners & Sinners and Project A since you're planning to watch Project A 2. Doesn't hurt that with both, you get to see Sammo Hung's fat ass punching people. So great.

Edit Edit : By that I mean Who Am I? is before Rush Hour regardless of which country you go by, whereas The Accidental Spy would be ahead of Rush Hour 2 going by the original HK release. Rush Hour 2 would be ahead of TAS if you went only by US dates though.

I think the part I hate most is how he tries to justify all of this random stuff with outright lies. It's like... Lucas, we know that you didn't plan for the first three episodes to be so stupid when you first wrote up EP 4, because we also know that you originally didn't plan for anything past EP 4 at all. He's always been at Capcom levels of bad with his attempts to justify his stupidity with outright bs lol. I can see making a change to a series that makes it better but isn't exactly canon. Being able to say "You know, it isn't how I originally planned it but I think this works better." would be pretty enviable, actually.

Lucas is the opposite. He just makes everything worse and if anyone questions it, he lies and says that's how he planned for it to be 30+ years ago.

The answer is pretty much no. As soon as a band becomes big enough to even enter this discussion, there are bound to be people hating on them for little else than that very fact. For non-active bands, I guess you could try to argue Queen. You never really see people going around saying they suck whenever someone mentions them, etc. That said, I'm sure even Queen has people who say that they were a bunch of talentless hacks around.

Oh, and if you lower the scale from globally big to a more regional setting, you may find one. For instance, there is a Taiwanese band called Mayday. They aren't really popular anywhere else, but within Taiwan they are basically like what would happen if Jesus himself joined the Beatles. Apparently every Taiwanese person ever loves them.

I looked at AoEO, but ugh pay stuff. I know the game is free, but the premium content? Seems like it's giving a big advantage to people who pay over those who just play free. They try to justify it by saying that if you buy premium stuff you don't get it instantly and that you still have to earn it in game. Really though, I think that's just as bad. Sure we all have to earn our new techs, but if the techs someone else is earning are better then there is still an imbalance.

Sure it will still probably be fun, but it kinda turns me off.

I've always had sleep related weirdness going on, from constant sleepwalking and sleeptalking to sleep paralysis. It all got a lot worse after I kind of went crazy a few years back, but nowadays I'm much better. Only thing now is whenever I sleep, right as I wake up? That time just doesn't exist for me. I never remember much of it XD. Apparently a few months ago when I woke up, I asked my girlfriend, "How would it feel if your entire body was made of forks? HUH?!" and went back to sleep.

I also do remember once I woke up to a phone call, and I swear the name on the phone was a mile long... like it said Kazakhstan or something random. Then when I checked it later, it just said "Dad"... And I don't remember talking to my dad XD.

I actually feel better using a dish I just washed than one that went through a machine... I don't trust dishwashers much for some reason, and stuff fresh from one always feels... weird. Something I washed by hand? I uhh... have that guarantee that I cleaned it to my standards, regardless of how high or low they may be.

I guess this is just an issue for people who have others doing dishes for them?

Guys, they are sprites from an old Tecmos game. Technically it is the same series as Super Dodge Ball, River City Ransom, etc... Same people who made Double Dragon, hence the familiarity.
