But it really seems hard to believe that Trump has a chance given the post Roe elections.
Before people shit on Silver here, and believe me, he deserves it, he was pretty much the only person to sound the alarm in 2016 about the likelihood of a Trump EC victory while losing the popular vote by a ton.Silver left 538, so this is no longer ran by him. 2022 results showed Silver's reign was over. The hate he got in 2016 for putting more weight on the polls than the pundits was really weird, though. In a way, the only reason Hilary was getting the 98+% chance of winnings was a more pundit-favored system.
Now, having said that, he's also been wrong about almost everything since then.
