There's just something funny about Hideo Kojima tweeting that out.
Time to go back to Netscape Navigator. We need to ditch Google and go back to Ask Jeeves
Nice strawman. 'Companies need to improve their production line' is not a statement that automatically translates to 'crunch more'. Unless you're a shareholder, I guess. You don't know their pipeline. They could be taking breaks after their mainline game comes out. They could be loaning devs to other teams to work on side projects. Take CDPR for example. They didn't work on CP2077 until after TW3 was finished. It didn't take them 8 years to make that game.
I feel like there's been a lot of excusing poor business practices in this topic. Yeah there are reasons why Square consistently fails to release things on a timely schedule. That doesn't change the end result. It's a major issue that's gradually eroding their marketshare. But what are the excuses though? DQ doesn't suffer from feature bloat, and they don't seem to have the same budget as FF games. They work at their own pace. Are you of the opinion that they should suffer through crunch so you can play their games every 3 years?
This is a topic about Dragon Quest, not Final Fantasy. They don't tend to reuse engine for mainline DQ. Armor Project works their own pace and their games are usually extremely polished. They don't work like the typical SE studio that rapidly fires out sequels after acclimating to a new engine.
If it takes them that long, then maybe something is wrong with their development pipeline and management. If a team like Monolith Soft can put out two huge RPGs in Xenoblade 2 and 3 and a very quality remaster of Xenoblade 1 all within the Switch's lifespan, why can't Square-Enix put out a single brand new DQ game in that same time frame?I don't think the Xenoblade games are on the tier of mainline FF games. The budget is just not comparable. Xenoblade is closer to Tales series.
Sakamoto Days anime announced!I'm pretty hyped. The manga goes hard when it hits its stride. I hope it gets at least 24 episodes to build up because the first few chapters are introductions and doesn't do the manga justice.
The best Jump Shonen to come out between chainsaw man and kagurabachi
iirc, Turn A and X are supposed to be in the UC timeline too. They're just so late in it, and most of the records of what happened earlier are lost in-universe due to all the wars that they might as well be stand alone series. F91/Crossbone got rewritten in Super Robot Wars V to be a similar sort of "post apocalyptic" Gundam setup (for how little the game featured it). Well, I'm not sure about X since I haven't watched it, it could just be a retcon type thing that came later on for X, but I remember Tomino getting super mad that people couldn't immediately tell that G-Reco was set after Turn A despite there not being anything to suggest it plotwise. This is correct.
Turn A's in every timeline, right? Since it's supposed to be like 10,000 years later.Correct it's supposed to be the end of the UC timeline until G-Reco came out.
MSG -> Zeta -> ZZ -> Char's CounterattackThis is the foundation of the UC timeline, can immediately watch Unicorn after Char's Counterattack. You can watch any of the other UC OVA and movies after watching the above entries.
The only gaps in that are 1991 and 1986. I'm considering Dragon Ball for 1986 but just not sure I want to commit to that whole series (doesn't help that the ideal version of DBZ, Kai, isn't available in Canada).1979 - Mobile Suit Gundam
This is the first I've heard of Death Stranding horniness. I guess that didn't stand out more to memers than the Norman Reedus and the Funky Fetus stuff. He doesn't discriminate. Do you not see all those shower scenes?
I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but one time I was at an Anime Convention where Wake Up, Girls performed and they did a cover of Hare Hare Yukai.WUG criminally underrated. Ahead of its time.

I was next to these middle school-looking girls who couldn't even recognize where it was from, and this was in 2014!
Auto for dbzDBZ for Monogatari
Monogatari is incredible because I swear in the past year I've come across what I would expect to be completely unrelated things - big tiddy silver-haired wolfgirl, anime OP of little girl with a backpack and a catchy theme, big tiddy blonde vampire, infamous toothbrush scene, some purple-haired girl wielding scissors like a weapon or something, more than one incredibly inappropriate brother/sister scene beyond the toothbrush scene - and each time I'd try to find the source and each time it was the same show??? Well the different series in the convoluted Monogatari timeline I guess.I can promise you will like this show 15 seconds into the first episode if you're into any sort of ecchi anime.
Yep.That's for Ubisoft+, their game library subscription, like Gamepass. Just wait for all the DLC to come out and buy a month of the sub and beat it and then unsubscribe. You can't own their games anyway because they use dogshit Denuvo always online DRM if their servers are fucked up you can't play your single player offline game.
The game is likely to flop for the reason of your screenshot there (a monthly rental for a fucking single player game, what?) but morons are so going to bait with thousands of youtube videos about black assassin in japan lol or some dumb shit.
The game isnt going to flop because of that. People just fucking HATE Ubisoft.
