Yeah, I actually take that back, I'm seeing a bunch of seemingly innocuous topics being locked and I assume not by the TC.

I don't know which topics this is referring to, but I think its silly to lock a topic when a couple people derail it and start shit flinging, instead of, you know, dealing with the people that derailed it.

Should get his mods reported for the false description. He doesn't do 'unofficial patches' so much as he does 'here is my personal remix of the game' mods.
That's what I was waiting for, and about what I expected.

They're doing this because because they know their AI answers suck and are going to give out wrong results that could lead to serious problems. Otherwise you'll google "winner of 2024 US election" and the AI will tell you "according to MLPFan420 on Reddit, Jeb Bush won the 2024 election."

We're still dealing with the fallout of MLP. I don't see people talk about Rick and Morty much after the sauce incident.

It was just a random magic ring. I think in the first published version, Gollum actually bets in on the riddle game, and when Fellowship came out it was retconned and explained that Bilbo lied about how he got it.

This is going to backfire. There's probably a reason it was always allowed, but not directly stated in the rules. They're probably going to run afoul of laws in countries where porn is banned, or places that have age verification laws.

Doom. A lot of the newer/younger fans are literally unable to play the classic games because they lack the computer literacy needed to get source ports working, and one of the most popular fan communities that's been around for years (and known for really insightful, interesting discussions) has slowly been becoming just children rambling and asking really basic questions that have nothing to do with anything.
I played a fair bit of Doom mods but I never participated in the forums. That's a real shame, I've heard some vague stuff about recent Doom forum drama. And I know zoomers are supposed to be tech illiterate, but with GZDoom you drag a wad onto the .exe and it just works. It's not like trying to get some obscure European PC game from 2001 running.

Makes sense. I wish retro video games weren't so popular.
Want some rye? 'Course ya do!
The games connect, but it's kinda loose and you shouldn't feel super lost playing them out of order. Honestly I'm not the biggest fan of I and II and if you're not really into retro games they can be off-putting. Everyone seems to like VIII the most of the modern 3D games so you could try that, but personally I love Oath in Felghana and Origin, and they go on sale for like five bucks. Napishtim uses the same engine as them, but it's kinda rough and I wouldn't recommend it unless you absolutely want more (but worse).

This. I have always felt there will never a Warcraft 4 unless they decided to end WoW and replace it with WoW2. They would do a Warcraft 4 in between to set the story up

And that could potentially happen. They announced a 3 expansion saga recently. I kinda have a suspicion that the story of WoW 1 could end in the epilogue of the 3rd upcoming expansion. All we know is it's name The Last Titan. But based on what I know of warcraft lore, that name could be a finale story
I don't know much about WoW but it sounds like too much of a clusterfuck to lead into an RTS.

I had a dream that I loaned a bunch of swords to some sort of museum, but someone had taken some of them out of the displays and drilled holes into the blades. I was absolutely livid, angrier than I've ever felt in real life. A bunch of people got together with me to try to find out who did it and how. I remember a guy saying "oh great, they've sent the two ugliest idiots here to help us," and I was like "c'mon dude, they're trying to help us out."

Glad I'm not alone then.
When I played it I think the water-based DLC had just come out, and there was some sort of property you could capture that would basically tax all other players and give it to the owner. Just one of them in play could really fuck up your income if you were a new player, but if there are multiple in play you were just completely fucked with no way to recover.

Pretty much every JRPG that isn't accessible on a current gen console, e.g.:

-Breath of Fire III and IV
-Legend of Legaia 1 and 2
-Lunar: Silver Star Story and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue
-Skys of Arcadia
-Soul Blazer
-Illusion of Gaia
-Terranigma
-Parasite Eve 1 and 2
-Brave Fencer Musashi
-Megaman Legends 1 and 2
-Dragon Quest IV-VIII
-Alundra 1 and 2
-Arc the Lad 1-4
-FUCKING XENOGEARS
It's kind of a ridiculous request, but I agree, just throw em all on an emulator and sell 'em on steam. Oh, and every Vanillaware game while they're at it.

I dreamed that I was driving through the woods when I came to a river. The bridge across was really rundown and simple, with no guardrails. A large pipe hooked to some sort of pump was lying across it, as well as some wooden skids that almost looked like a barricade. Something in my head was screaming that this place was really dangerous and that I should just turn around and leave, but I got out and dumped the skids into the river. I got back into my car, through the passenger door so I had to awkwardly scoot over the center, then I drove off and absolutely nothing bad happened.

Later I was in this corner store or something talking to an older man about this giant book I had. It had illustrations of various military uniforms, but the only color printed was pink. I remember there being British Lancers and Trotsky's train guards.
