Yeah, it was kinda weird how there were so many people saying, "Why hasn't GameFreak made a statement about Palworld yet?!" ...Why should they have?

TImmyQuivy (Admin)? What happened to SBAllen? How much has changed since I last visited these boards? Also, GameFAQs got bought by another company 2 years ago? I guess that sort of explains things. The message sort of feels like, "The members of this board and its general culture are from the old internet, relics of a a bygone era, and have no place in the current internet."

I'm sad to see that Current Events is private. ;_; I used to come here because it was the most active board on the site and it was nice seeing a lot of active threads. Now that's basically dead... Good thing I visited the site a few times in the past year.

There was no social media and smartphones, but internet was still fairly common. There's a reason those jokes about AOL discs being so common is a thing. I had it, my family members had it, most of my friends did. I'm more surprised at the comments in here saying they didn't have internet.

It was spoiled for pretty much everyone. That spoiler was EVERYWHERE on the internet. Unless you managed to play the game on release and get to that point relatively quickly, you probably heard about it.
