I wonder if the genre would be as healthy without Smash's existence.I can't for the life of me see how Smash has any impact on the success of other fighting games. It is different enough from other fighters that I doubt there is much direct crossover.
I guess people would argue that the Smash fanbase is different from the general fighting game fanbase, but I think it did expand the base.

Yeah but the question is biggest impact on the industry, not best developer.I was thinking consoles and not PC, so your arguments have changed my perspective a bit. Not entirely, though, as their prevalence in OS space to me has little to do with gaming and there are probably more alternatives to DirectX now than ever. In retrospect, I would probably put them ahead of Sega.
It's Microsoft without question. People forget that Microsoft created DirectX, and the Windows OS, which (quick googling), like 90% of PC games use/are on.
Then you have the Xbox 360, which is like, yeah.
I read somewhere that it is common for animated shows to have a guaranteed second season, but I can't be assed to verify ... so take this with a grain of salt igWith animation you do have to work far ahead if you're going to do a full season like The Simpsons or Family Guy, but that's just not the case with this show. The fact that this same company has scrapped completely finished products for a tax write off, its absolutely baffling that they didn't shut this second season down. Something about the analytics must have said it'd be worth not just completing the project be also airing it.
"Just impeach the person doing a military coup" is so stupid. You can't have a dictatorship if other political voices can be heard, and Trump has already said he wants to be a dictator.
How exactly is that a solution? You think they won't use the military to shut down the impeachment hearing also?
Specifically I chose SNES and Genesis because they started "the console wars" which I think is a big part of the identity of console gaming.I love SNES/Genesis as the Magic/Bird of consoles, and I wish I could put them up as an untieable duo on the same spot, but as a Genesis kid, picking from the two... I know that I got to play great games, but I missed out on more great games.
I probably keep SNES regardless but Genesis might replace with Wii or 360. MAYBE replace both with both but I do think SNES library being as strong as it was at the time it was matters.

yeah, only money exchange happening is at a western union and i'm going with a girl so fifth won't be a problem. even if i wasn't, that's about the worst place to find a woman in a country wanting money.Make sure you get small and/or a mix of bills, WU will want to pay out in the biggest bills, because that's what is easy for them. The bigger the bill, the more chance you don't get your proper change back. The more chance you get a fake bill. Don't just say that Western union will have your back, because they won't. You have to manage your money, full stop.
didn't think about 3rd or 4th but yeah, i ain't trusting shit. also have no intention of going to La Boca in BA, that area's way too rampant with thieves.
the fact that gamecube was competitive in any multiplat releases given the smaller disc sizes is something worth considering to be fair, yeahI know this is a different time, but the vast amount of data storage that is expected as the norm now gives devs a reason to just not care. There are games that are 5, possibly 10 times as big as they could be if anyone cared about not eating up storage space.
