The cops looked up the plate number and got some additional information, like what insurance they had. Not sure what would have happened if I just wrote it down without having any footage. Maybe they would have brushed it off. From their perspective, I could have lied about it.so their insurance paid for all of it? you had no contact whatsoever with that person, what happened though, they hit you, did you try to give chase?
