This is my squad so far, before Vermillion City. But I though, I've done balanced teams countless times before, I should do something different and also increase the challenge a little bit that way. I'm thinking by the E4 I should have:
Blastoise
Poliwrath
Slowbro
Dewgong or Lapras or Cloyster (idk when I can get these)
Gyarados
Omastar (already got the Helix fossil so might as well)
I also want to run this team through Pokemon Stadium after the E4
