It's pretty incredible if you put the time into learning it. It's basically an open-world RPG deckbuilder, player versus the game; you can play with up to 4 people and choose whether or not to include PvP combat (I have never done it as it adds another layer of complexity to the game). Talking about it makes me want to play it again.

Mage Knight is my favorite. I haven't played it in years but I love that you can play single-player scenarios.

3 from my mom's side, 3 from my dad's side.

Somewhat interesting to me are that my mom is one of three kids and my dad one of 5, yet they nor any of their siblings ever had more than 2 kids.

I was fired from a small grocery store with no warning. Owner called up and said it was due to my schedule (I could only work 2 shifts a week since I was in school) and for "performance reasons" even though I had literally never had anyone talk to me about poor performance. The owners turned out to be pretty shitty and liars and let other people go for dumb reasons as well. If they had just said it was due to my schedule needs I would have understood but they made some bullshit up to go along with it.

edit: oh and I was laid off from another job twice for non-performance reasons, a company which I still do part time contract work for

Bikes should generally follow the rules of the road, but there some areas that implement common-sense adaptations for bikes such as treating stop signs as yield signs and stop lights as stop signs provided cyclists are doing these things safely. I feel like there are some unwritten rules that I've noticed biking around cities, like where cars will often yield to me at a 4 way stop which I feel is a nice gesture as accelerating and decelerating on a bike takes more work than in a car. But I never assume someone in a car is going to yield to me and wait for eye contact or a hand gesture usually.

I got back into Dead Cells and have been playing it a lot recently. The other day I made it to the final boss of 5BC but I died. I still have plenty of blueprints to collect so I'm trying to alternate 5BC runs with easier runs where I just try to go for blueprints

I saw Arcade Fire in early 2005, a few months after Funeral released. It felt obvious to me that band was going places as it's still maybe the most memorable show of my life (but I was also 18 at the time)

I loved this game as a kid. I remember renting it on Genesis from the local movie rental joint and I think I got really close to the end but didn't beat it before I had to return it. I revisited it in the last 10 years or so and finally did beat it though.

He originally picked Pence to get moderates and evangelicals. Since then moderate Republicans have became extinct and Trump himself has become the evangelical vote.

This is actually 100% my mother's experience. Back in 2016 she said she wasn't voting for Trump, she was voting for Pence and after Jan. 6th she thinks Pence is a snake.

my parents have voted and will vote for trump again, but our relationship is much bigger than politics so i would never cut them out. if they took it to an obsessive level of support, ie never not talking about trump, attending rallies, etc then that would be grounds for cutting them out.
