The huge post, list of resources, and focus on how "everyone" must be accepted and that "heated discussion" must remain "civil" is a fairly obvious message to trans people to either make sure bigots feel comfortable or to leave. I fully believe they'll mod blatant transphobia but between the politics ban, removal of the Sexuality board, and the horrendous both-sidesing in the anti-transphobia post it's loud and clear that they're going to moderate trans people for making bigots uncomfortable much more harshly than the reverse.
Fair enough. If it's any consolation, the discussions I've seen regarding transphobia and what will be modded indicate a much tighter leash on anti-trans rhetoric than before with much harsher punishments for it. That said I can't dispute that coupling it with a politics ban and the removal of the sexuality board is anything other than dumb as fuck.
