those voting for Jolly Roger Bay have brass balls to live with the eel for a year

You say that as if I didnt consider the "enemies are edible" angle, because eel sushi is pretty amazing.

Anyways I am disregarding most of the "right" answers today and picking my favorites.

Mudkip is a no ifs, ands, or buts lock.
Blaziken made history among tryhards (First starter to get banned by Smogon).
Nuzleaf is because of the Nuzlocke challenge.
Gardevoir is a pretty safe pick for a Rushmore and it seems the rest of the people in this thread agree.
Someday, I too will become Florida Man.
i'm not changing my vote again but dishonourable fucking mention to wingull

I see the case on Nuzleaf but I think it's incorrect because the Pokemon really had little to do with the challenge existing and more with the name. That many voters didn't even know kinda validates it does not belong to me.

The one person who voted big boos haunt is very brave to deal with living in proximity to mad piano

they would also have to eat giant eyeball

So have Nuzlockes actually broken past the hardcore bubble or is its prevalence there enough?

Also is it still a thing? Dont hate the vote but Im curious

Honestly that's like 50% why I voted for JRB. The other 50% being its one of the few levels with an atmosphere that is mellow enough to not drive me insane for a whole year

Nuzlockes are huge, yeah, I just don't agree with drawing a line to Nuzleaf from that. It doesn't really have anything to do with that success and almost no associates them with the Pokemon the name happens to come from. Wobbuffet would have made more sense then by having a commonly accepted clause and I wouldn't agree that would have been a very good case either.

Not happy with that fourth pick, but there's genuinely nothing else that stands out except for maybe Sceptile as well for the anime.
How paralyzingly dull, boring and tedious!
Blaziken
Rayquaza
Zigzagoon
Pelipper

Gardevoir and Mudkip along with the first two are probably the four most notable. But I thought Zigzagoon and Pelipper would make for more interesting picks. And they're still pretty notable too.
