The best news is that the light week for OHP/arms did seem to help, as I was feeling very fresh today. Managed to put up 147.5 on OHP for, I think, the first time ever. And I did a a very nice feeling 6 @ 65 for weighted chin ups.

today was just another chill light day. I actually really enjoy these parts in cycles mentally. Just throwing around lightweight and getting a huge pump in the process. It also takes off some of the anxiety of hitting your expected weight or reps

For sure, it also helps with the joints.

Took today off and have just been looking at ways to improve my deadlift more, by all accounts I should be lifting a lot more than what I'm currently at. I can pullup a shiton, I can hip thrust a shitton, I can squat 375, while my dead is at 385. So I think the issue is I'm not pulling the slack out well enough. So I'm gonna focus on that a bit more see if it helps. I've always made sure my upper back was activated during the pull, but I think that I'm not pulling, then driving at the right time, like my mechanics are just slightly off.

Gonna squat tomorrow, bench on Tuesday, and do deads on Wednesday. Hopefully with some new PR's.
