I have absolutely zero doubt that we will get a P4 remake, using the exact same engine as P3R.Will it be announced before Persona 6 comes out in 2026?
Honestly it may not even have much of a turnaround time. I'm going to double down and say we will have a trailer for P4R (it'll be R, not sure what word) within the next 2 years.
My only question is what it will include. I'm in the awkward situation now where I bitched about them not including stuff from P and FES in P3R, but now my desire for P4R is to not include anything from Golden, lol.
one would hope after persona 6Yep, but unlikely given the success of P3R and how relatively easy this would be to make.

Just release Persona 6, you cowards!Persona 6 would be out this year if they hadn't delayed it to make P3R!

Infuriating if true.P3R took four years of development, though they've been doing some work on P6 at the same time, I believe.
I truly don't know what the point of this would be since Golden exists and they just ported it to PC.
P3P exists and it just got rereleased a year ago too!
Also don't let ATLUS bully you. If all you truly want is HD Persona 4, boot up a PS2 emulator and upscale that shit. It'll look crisp as hell.
I want all the Golden shit and some QoL updates to go along with those crisp visualsGolden PC already has QoL updates. What more do you want?
I'm not convincing anyone of anything. But what you are actually asking for when you say you want a Persona 4 remake is additional Marie content. Them's the breaks.
those crisp visuals
Also I don't actually think this is the case. With P3R their reasoning (so they say) for not including content was they wanted to recreate the original vision of the game as it was. I imagine the same would fit for P4.
I mean I think they revealed themselves to be full of shit when they announced The Answer DLC before the game even launched. There is no "vision" here.
Truly, honestly, the best case scenario you are asking for here with a P3R style remake is that you get an initial overhaul that has some basic, non-Golden QoL features, and then have to shell out more money later for the bulk of the Golden additions (including Marie).
Persona 6 was replaced by that new fake Persona game that looks lame af
you best not be talking shit about goty 202x Metaphor ReFantaziogesundheit

I imagine the same would fit for P4.P3R includes all the non-Answer FES content already, like the Elizabeth dates and the Aigis S-Link.
I need to see more of RaFantzio for sure. I think everything about the presentation is beyond incredible, but the game needs to be good too. SMTV was solid but did not live up to it's potential (and not just because it was being choked to death by the Switch).Eh, SMTV's gameplay was sublime. It's impossible to tell how good Metaphor's story'll be before it comes out anyway.
Also, more important than anything, if P3R is anything to go by they'll change all the VAs, too.Erin Fitzgerald WAS the replacement Chie VA, they're not doing it again, especially as none of the current P4 VAs have any Vic Mignogna-tier misdeeds.
Please let me be blessed with no more Erin Fitzgerald Chie.
