My two hardcore FGO friends talk to me about it a lot, and they hate and love Lostbelt 6 because this exact thing keeps happening: it's so good that people jump into the game to get to it, and they are unable to escape.
When I was told that Lostbelt 6 by itself had 4 times the wordcount of Umineko in it's entirety, I ran for the fucking hills. Seems like FFXIV would potentially take less time to catch up on from the start than FGO.
But hey, that's appealing to a lot of people. Hell. It's supper appealing to me! I just can't afford the risk of playing another gacha.
