Pick a shot from New Pokemon Snap and I will talk about it

Choose a Pokemon in the game and a star level (1-4). I'll post the known world record shot along with some commentary about the shot or any history or trivia that it might have. I aim to be entertaining for people who enjoy the game but don't necessarily follow it.

One per person at a time, but after I do yours you can request a new one. Responses will probably be slower than the last time I made this topic but I'll try to stick with it for a while.

Typhlosion angry at Charizard after they do their interaction. The main Typhlosion, Charizard, and the second Typhlosion all do their animations on semi-random cycles once they reach this point, so there's some variation in the appearance of this shot if you look at different people's scores. This shot technically works with either Charizard's face or the second Typhlosion in the frame, you still get the bonus points either way even if you only have one. Of course with this being the WR they went for a pattern that had both of them visible to maximize points.

Two things stand out about this photo. The first is that this is a good example of a shot that's not taken with good direction. Sure you could go further ahead in the course and improve the direction stat, but this angle ends up being better for other reasons, so you just eat the loss and make up the points elsewhere. The second is the ridiculous number of extra Pokemon that were lured into the scene. The only ones that are actually required are the 2 Deerling in front. Everything else is just optional, lured over to this spot with apples. The extra Pokemon account for nearly 200 points over taking this shot "vanilla".

One of the infamous "double tornado" shots, which is taken in front of a pair of whirlwinds that 2 dueling Hippowdons shoot at each other and count as background (300 points each) for the few seconds that they remain on screen before dissipating. Not only do you have to lure a Pokemon into position (in some cases down the hill from the previous section) but you have to make them do their pose at the right time when the Hippowdons start fighting. This particular shot is when Silicobra tosses an apple into the air to catch it and swallow it whole, which it only does if you orb it before it eats (otherwise it eats it normally). Direction is pretty weird because Silicobra twists its body during the animation. Actually, even though this WR avoided any issues, size can be pretty weird here too. Explain why this shot is -116 size. I genuinely can't.

Woobat went through somewhat of a revolution after a community event we held back in October where the 4 star was one of the chosen photos. Unfortunately, Woobat 2 was the only one of the four which wasn't affected by the new strat change :s (I believe it was tested but deemed not viable in that location due to the bad direction, which would be much lower than it is here) So in this one, you're just hitting it as it flies over you. The main trick is playing melody at specific times so one Woobat hears it but another one doesn't, and that's how you get them closer together than they would normally fly uninterrupted. Of course, you don't need the extra ones just to take a basic version of the shot, but you're gonna want them if you want to get over 5000.
