Season 4 has a part where I just had to pause it because it broke me.
When Michael's wife is doing a southern accent and trying to trick someone on a mission for the freaking government, it just broke me and something snapped and I just went "What am I even watching anymore because this isn't even the same show." The scene wasn't any more egregious than anything else, but I'll never forget just the sense of confusion I had that stemmed from that one moment that made me stop to evaluate the entire show. And then they made Bellick a good guy hero with a noble death in it and I was so bewildered by it.
