i will use the western release date to say trails of cold steel 4/trails from zero/azure/reverie/xenoblade 3,
I am thinking about just walking into the river now that Megaupload is gone and condoms are in porn .-Fubonis

most of square enix's output in the last few years is honestly great, even the less appreciated ones like diofield or so6, and they've been consistently on the ball with their remasters too

From Cyko's list I think the must-play's are:

Chained Echoes
Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Octopath Traveler 2

Hades and 13 Sentinels are also great but I don't consider them rpg's.

Neo Twewy is straight up bad

Nier Replicant (remake of OG Nier with some new content)

Elden Ring if you count it.
Would agree that 13 Sentinels isn't an RPG but is amazing.

I'd also come to the defense of NEO: TWEWY but also wouldn't consider it must-play.

Personally speaking, I actually think its one of the best ARPGs Squeenix has made in quite a while and one of their most synergetic ones by far.
