Northeast Frost Street and MNN+@0 are both excellent. MNN+@0 just has that uniqueness factor, and that mega catchy drop that gives it the advantage. Great match.

Samsara has some fun instrumentation, but I do wish the melody were better for it to be something that I'd want to go back to. Purple Town is great prog stuffs and wins this match pretty easily for me.

Good quality tiebreaker match too.

Pretty solid opening day for R3.

MANON strikes a good balance between having strong melodies and a lot of strange, alien-sounding effects. Im a fan of the muted background rhythm from 0:27-0:35 and the distorted synths from 1:30-1:46

They Who Govern Reason had better pull through here. The interplay between the instruments is so engaging to listen to, the percussion driving forward the violin that dances between uplifting and dire.

Sunshine/Blue Whitecaps is a tough match both to predict and to decide what I want to win. Ill support either over the bottom half winner.

As much as it stings to be voting against Sansara, Purple Town is just too good and catchy to not acknowledge as the winner of this match. It goes to say though that I'd he mostly fine with Samsara continuing forward though.
