Got more raves? was pretty cool but had an iffy synth early in. Desert-Duo was just very pleasant. RftM has a great chorus but man the ZUNpets at the end are not good. Had time to like this once since the GaMetal exists though LOL. Dialga is really cool, like most PMD music I've heard. To quote R1 me, "The Grand Finale is my favorite video game song ever made nothing else stood a fucking chance. This song is a genuine fucking masterpiece and if you think otherwise you are dead to me." To Far Away Times is also pretty great, but I feel like it probably works better in context? Still really cool though.

Yeah, I have the same feelings about Got More Raves than I have with Chain of Pain, nice overall but lacks in various parts. Desert Duo is solid enough to beat it too. The other two matches are easy picks, but it's a bit sad Dialga had to face Mokou this soon. Oh well, I guess an immortal being is a worthy contender to the god of time?

Got more raves? has some nice aspects to it, but it doesn't grab me much as a whole. Desert-Duo is great. Very pleasant song.

Welp, since apparently Dialga is the only song in this match, guess I gotta vote for it.

The Grand Finale is great. Great melody, and it does a pretty good job despite the DS's limitations. To Far Away Times is very nice, but it lacks something really interesting to make it something I'd want to go back to.

Pretty underwhelming day after the last several days being so strong.

Real good day to finish up Round 2! (Or mostly finish it, at least.)

Looking back on it, I definitely prefer the simplistic vocalizing in Desert than the normal vocals for Desert-Duo. Regardless, just a little nitpick.

I can feel the distance between The Grand Finale and To Far Away Times shrinking with every listen, but for today I'll go with Grand Finale as I still think it's one of the best tracks that Shimomura could ever do.
