I barely count The Menu as horror, honestly. Like it's one of my favorite movies of the year, easy. Absolutely love it. But it really just feels like a dark comedy, because there don't really seem to be a ton of horror elements in it.
I think it was definitely marketed as being horror and definitely has some very strong elements of it
(I mean, almost every character dies and several die in violent or disturbing ways)
. It's horror enough that I would specifically not recommend it to someone squeamish
