So whos the most interesting team this year?

feels like its either Wolves or Cavs, largely cause of how young their roster is and their big additions

can see an argument for a healthy Clippers

I want to see what the grizz can do. They felt like they were just on that next step last year, wanna see if they can fully make the leap this year. They've done it largely outside of making splashy acquisitions, instead just drafting really well.

Absolutely insane behavior by Draymond and not remotely proportionate to the situation. He'll be suspended at a minimum but if I'm Jordan Poole, I'm not sure that is repairable. I'd honestly make a me or him ultimatum.

Also I genuinely hope that a non tanking team wins the lotto this year because the level of tanking this year is going to be absolutely shameless.

I think Hawks is kinda what you would expect from a Trae Young team unless Murray inspires him with some defensive hustle

Nets is I dunno what to make. I guess even Simmons classic is at least a good defender

If he opts in, I assume they will trade him. They may even move off Wiseman too. Moving Draymond and Wiseman for picks and vet minimums would save the owner like 100m+ or something. They would still be paying a crazy number like 350m or something though.

The fact that they are on track to spend almost 500m for a season (I think it was 481m when I quickly matched it out) when the cap is 123m is a joke (Apron will be like $138-140). They are basically going to be spending 4x the cap. Granted a lot of that is luxury tax.

And yeah people will say it only happened because they drafted 4 of their own core on huge deals which is fair. However, the other part of that is they are in this situation because the cap went up massively in the year they acquired Durant instead of eased in like it should have been. They then parlayed Durant into D'lo into Wiggins plus all the associated picks. If it was eased in they never get KD (Thanks player association! Gotta get all that money right this instant for the players right, consequences be damned)

Orlando/Detroit is the most exciting Opening Night game since LeBron and Wades first game in Boston. They should have simulcast this game on ESPN, TNT, NBA TV and Netflix. Banchero is already an All-NBA player and Cade looks like hes 29 years old. Trying not to overreact.
