Pokemon Go always making this lists sort of mystifies me in a way
It's certainly one of the biggest cultural experiences of the decade, and I do think it's a fun activity that encourages people to go outside, and it's one of the most interesting technological concepts for a game to date - but the game itself is boring and really just feels like a list of stuff to collect with a presentation that is close to as clinical as possible
Including a dinky phone game like 'threes' says something about the list as well.

Maybe I'm just missing something here, but I don't feel like TPP ever made the transition from internet phenomenon to genuine real-life cultural phenomenon, unlike Go. The audience for the former at least seemed much more limited than the latter, which truly hit all walks of society.
