also if were getting build up and a trailer for one Galar form, im getting kinda worried that theres not very many of them / not very many new Pokmon. Were like two months from release.

It has been confirmed that some news about Pokmon Sword & Shield will come tomorrow, September 18th at 22:00 JST / 14:00 BST / 09:00 EDT / 06:00 PDT. This will focus on the reveal of the mystery Pokmon that was "glitched" on Friday. Farfetch'd is my fave Pokemon so I hope this is cool. The mock-up looks really cool, which means the actual reveal will be a little less hype.

I guess the Japanese tweet revealing the date implies they're finally "officially" announcing Impidimp. It says something like the glitch was caused by Pokemon mischief. After waiting three months from when it was shown in the E3 demo, here's hoping they also give us its evolution (I'm wondering if it isn't those big orc-looking things by the lighthouse in the Direct trailer).

Alolan Marowak drops ground completely, so if it actually is the regional Farfetch'd evolution, it wouldn't be the first time a regional changed type completely when evolving.

If it is a Farfetch'd evolution, I fully expect it to be like Obstagoon and explicitly be the evolution of Galarian Farfetch'd instead. Wouldn't be any weird type discretion in that case.
Alternatively it's possible the type and weight are also part of the "glitch". Like maybe there's a new Fighting type being introduced in the same trailer and their info was smashed together.

When a rumor incorrectly predicts the exact date and time of the next trailer drop, that instantly debunks the rest of the rumor.
