If Corrik was town hider, he would have made it clear who he was hiding behind in case he died for hiding behind scum. He hasn't, so he isn't a hider. Believing him isn't quite as 'what' as believing HB but it's up there.
You missed the part where Corrik is obviously playing poorly. That doesnt mean he isnt bad town hider. (I dont think thats the case but its possible)
