How many times can I die in Dark Souls (Playthrough)

Gaping dragon was pretty neat (and tiny-looking when it first appears, but then
oh geez)

also killed that Quelaag spiderlady
she gave me some trouble only because of me sometimes getting stuck between a rock and a molten lava place

now the way to Sens Fortress is open
also whoops I think I sent that firemage to his doom
