Ditch the owl
Scene skip
Maybe streamline inventory more so you can switch equipment faster
Replay temples
Option to beat the final boss, but not rescue Zelda or beat the boss and rule in his place because why not
Quick travel
Maybe make the sages feel more important

Lose the owl
Give the sages larger roles

Uhh most of the stuff I would have said was fixed in the remake so that's it I guess.

I would either outright remove the Kakariko Well portion or make an actual part of the Shadow Temple.

It goes by way too quick and looks just like the Shadow Temple for it to actually matter, not only that but you have to fight Dead Hand twice which is just a slog.

- Better ending

Make the west side of Hyrule relevant beyond the final 1/10 of the game. Nearly all of the play time is confined to the south eastern segment of the Hyrule map with Kokori Forest, Lost Woods, Kakariko Village, Death Mountain and Zora's domain. That's every single dungeon and mini dungeon besides Water Temple, Spirit Temple and Ganon's Tower.

Ditch the owl. Why can it turn its head upside down. Creepy! Plus we already have Navi, we don't need the owl.
I really wish this game didn't remind me of my ex, but that really can't be fixed.
It did age kind of badly though, and its glitchy. Fix the glitches.

Let me run around hyrule AFTER Ganon is defeated

Fuck that one big poe that gives you like one second to kill it before it disappears. So pointlessly dumb

Infinite dash on epona (outside the race)

Something other than stalchild in hyrule field at night

Sun's song lets you choose a specific time

Make ganondorf and Ganon at least pretend to be challenging

Make rupees relevant....somehow

It's the best game ever... I would change virtually nothing except that I could play it again blind somehow.

If I could make even smallest suggestion though, give me a reason to get the Giants wallet...

Also, don't remove Kaepora Gaebora, but allow the use of a button to skip through text faster. Or better, skip a dialogue sequence period.

Increase the cap on rupees. Nothing worse than have full rupees and finding more. It's obnoxious even with the biggest wallet

- Keep the owl, but make its default option to not repeat everything.
- Remove Navi
- Ditch the "upgrade items" (Hookshot -> Longshot ; Slingshot -> Bow) and replace them with actually unique items

It's not possible to fix Ocarina of Time, it's just too deeply flawed. Burn it and create a whole new game instead.

Anyway, agreed about the wallet/rupees thing. I don't think I even purchased anything in a shop as Adult Link because there was literally no reason to.
