Worth buying in the next 5 years?

I want a new car now that I have a new baby, but not sure if buying an archaic gas-powered car will even be worth it!

Hm... I'd wait at least 3-4 years. They're bound to get cheaper as technology improves.

As someone who works in the auto industry, I think you should wait a few years. Performance is improving rapidly, and around 2021 is when a lot of new programs are getting ready to launch.

As long as I could still get, like, a kia-priced vehicle using these new programs.

Now thats something I just dont know. Im on supply side so I have very little knowledge about the sticker price of these programs!
