Pick one

I'm struggling to think of any other musician who has exactly two hit songs that people are generally divided on - and nothing else.

Wasn't Devil's Haircut pretty big? Like, I definitely agree on Loser and Where It's At being his best, but...

BK_Sheikah won the guru and all he got was my lousy sig.
E-Pro charted similarly to Where It's At and was in Rock Band. People know that one probably

but the best is Lost Cause

Presidents of the United States of America
Bloodhound Gang
Blue Oyster Cult
Eve 6
Dido
Finger Eleven

Ultimate's got to be Filter, though. Hey Man Nice Shot vs Take a Picture? Talk about two extremes.
Presidents of the United States of America

Lump and Peaches? I'll give you that one.

The rest I couldn't name more than one song for.

BOC: Don't Fear the Reaper, Burnin' For You
Eve 6: Inside Out (aka Rendezvous), Here's to the Night
Dido: White Flag, Thank You
Finger Eleven: One Thing, Paralyzer

Bloodhound Gang has (at least) two songs, but I guess the public isn't really divided on it since almost everyone thinks of The Bad Touch first and foremost.

I think the literal only song of theirs I've ever heard is Discovery Channel

Beck is one of the most prolific artists in the history of music.

The answer might be Lazy Flies by the way, but it depends on the mood.

Not a huge fan or anything but this newest song of his is pretty good.
It's also getting heavy airplay lately.
I doubt people KNOW it's Beck though since it sounds nothing like his older stuff.

I only know 1 prince song.
Purple Rain

It was only after his death that I found out how big he was, nobody I knew growing up listened to his music let alone talked about him outside of his not having a name for a while.

first of all, why is beck in quotation marks?

second of all, people know way more than 4 prince songs.

don't think there are more than 3 zappa songs "everyone knows," though, and even 3 is generous. valley girl is the obvious one, but how many people are there really who know peaches and dancin' fool?

This. Closest they came to The Bad Touch was Mope, Foxtrot Unicorn Charlie Kilo, and Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss. None of them really became that big.

Finger Eleven by Canadian standards could also include Drag You Down, First Time, and Good Times. However, in America, you pretty much only know them for One Thing and Paralyzer

Nope. Don't even think it was a single. I like it, but I'm also an Offspring fan. (I could have written a longer list than the one I did above, but some of the singles I know of just never did anything.) Underleveled posted...

Never heard of Dion, but it makes me think of Dio, as in Ronny James. I'm sure he had other hits in his day, but all I can think of are Holy Diver and Rainbow in the Dark.

Most people would say Milli Vanilli fits the category (Blame It on the Rain and Girl You Know It's True), even though they had four songs make the top 5
