Should people be held responsible for their ancestors' deeds?

A good example would be Germany. Should modern day Germans, i.e. those born after WW2, be held responsible for the actions of Hitler?

What do you mean "support"? If someone says he supports Hitler today, is he guilty of what Hitler did?
