Yeah its being overshadowed by Mario and Wolfenstein but this new ones supposed to be pretty good too!

Tbh my favorite is Brotherhood, probably the peak of the series and back when the gameplay felt fresh.

I can't imagine it ever not being AC2

Black Flag managed to beat out 2 for me. Edward Kenway is a great protagonist, the pirate storyline was pretty incredible, and I loved sailing the high seas.
I once read that names which begin with the letter 'S' are the names of SNAKES! Sssss!

Maybe I just really like Rome as a setting

II is pretty close though. Black Flag has a lot of meat to it but theres quite a few parts that I found more tedious than fun

Yeah Black Flag didn't do it for me at all. I couldn't get into it. It was like 3 had completely killed the magic. 3 might be one of my least favourite games ever made - not the worst game per se, but I resent it for what it did to a series I was so into at the end of 2. It went from being on a par with like Uncharted to being practically nothing.

It's mad just how obviously better the Ezio trilogy is than the rest of it tbh

honestly while it's a hilariously terrible retelling of the french revolution, with notable historical figures shoehorned into assassin's creed weird assassin/templar dichotomy in convoluted ways that conflict with their actual political leanings, the game itself is alright, and on pc is among the most beautiful games i've ever played

The lead director for this game gave me directions last week in long beach.

Should be a good game, his handshake was firm.
