Single or Multiplayer?

I can't really keep up with Multi anymore but honestly I've always preferred Single anyway. Getting busier in life has only cemented that fact. It's impossible to coordinate with friends these days to find a time to get online and play.
124 Gurus were better than me in BGE 2015 contest! But the best of all was DpObliVion! Congrats!
Prefer multiplayer, but I play a lot more single player

Single player. The best multiplayer games are typically endlessly (re)playable and I don't really have time for that kind of thing anymore.

Like it about even but it's harder to find a great multiplayer game that really sinks its teeth into you.

Nothing like you and three mates having a total demolition derby or a shootout.
I'll get back up for good this time and I ain't comin' down...
Single...tbh I'd rather do something besides game than play most multi-player games.
When I was a kid and a teenager and I could have friends over all the time, I probably preferred multiplayer games.

Almost never play multiplayer games anymore though.
Local Multiplayer is king imo. Nothing beats playing a game with good friends that are in the same room as you.

Course that's a bit more difficult to do once you get older.
Singleplayer, people suck.

Online multiplayer games are stressful. I haven't played with another person locally since I handed my mother the controller and told her to press buttons when I was eight.

Prefer multiplayer in general but play a lot more single player due to life stuff and convenience

Being so deep in the Smash scene distorts my view of this.

But normally I only do single-player. Multiplayer is fun, but I lost my taste for most casual multiplayer affairs, even though competitive smash also really made a pretty positive impact on my life in ways a game could never do outside of some formative child years.
Single player.

Don't have the internet speed to play most online multiplayer games. I do enjoy local multiplayer, but there's not a whole lot of that anymore.
Growing up, I wish some teacher told me "You probably won't ever need this, but if you don't learn it, you might miss out on something really cool."
As an only child

Single player

I do enjoy a good multiplayer though

Wow these results!

yeah Melee's my game of choice right now - I'm playing in Big House 7 next month :O. If I am playing a single-player game I'm usually (pretending I'm good at) speedrunning.
special shout outs to DpObliVion and JDTAY , who did well in the contest and normally play the piano when these scenes play
Single Player, but a great multiplayer experience can destroy most single player games.

Here's some of my favorite multiplayer games

Call of Duty Zombies with my high school friends

Portal 2 Co-Op with one of my best friends

Minecraft with work friends
My Quest to beat the Final Fantasies: I II III IV V VI VII VIII IX X XII XIII XV
Something like Co-op=Single>Competitive multiplayer
DPOblivion beat us all.
Single player easily.

I enjoy playing sports games online but I can't stand multiplayer shooters or anything like them anymore.

i would say that the very best single player games are my favorite. But they always end (examples: Assassin's Creed, Banner Saga, Arkham Asylum, Dark Souls, Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect, Portal, Sleeping Dogs, KOTOR, Super Mario, Halo, Witcher, Final Fantasy)

So the end result is that vast majority of my time ends up getting sucked up by good multiplayer games. I rotate between the hyper competitive (Rocket League, Starcraft, Nidhogg, shooters) and social (Minecraft, World of Warcraft, Destiny, Salem)

Local multiplayer is a different category of activity altogether
You did indeed stab me in the back. However, you are only level one, whilst I am level 50. That means I should remain uninjured.
I miss the days of local multiplayer. But the answer is easily single player.
