Do you think Henry Cavill is a good Superman?

I have the unpopular opinion of thinking he is the best Superman.

No but I don't think it's his fault, it's the direction they've taken with his character so far. Which is not Superman.

He is without a doubt the best Superman, as he is the first Superman actor to actually put in the physical effort to attain the physique required for the role. And his acting isn't bad. Like, yeah he's bland but that's Superman.

Looking up Cavill's workout regimen and diet before Man Of Steel came out was seriously inspiring.

When Superman's good, he's like all the best parts of a Pixar or Disney movie put into one.

He's been awful in these movies but that's 100% on the direction and writing. He has the potential to be a great one. Let's hope he's course corrected in JL and beyond.

He's an awful actor IMO, although definitely wasn't helped with the awfully bland character/script he was given.
