As long as I had enough warning to put things in order and say my goodbyes, I think I'd prefer to die alone. I'd hate for my final moments to be sad family members crying at my bedside or whatever

It doesn't matter how you die. Dead is dead. The deaths are all equally horrible and I care more about avoiding it altogether than how I die.

I've made my peace with it. I'll probably panic later on, but the fact is I terrify and/or creep women out so dating just isn't in the cards for me.

I don't interpret this as dying single. I interpret it as literally being alone and unattended when you die.
