Back in high school we were being dicks to one of our teammates by calling him Whale Rider cause we thought his girlfriend was fat (he was kinda a dick himself so whatever). I can top that with personal testimony. I threw a small party at my parents house (they were out of town) on New Year's Eve 2014. Well, I'd turn it down if she was unattractive.

Which is not necessarily a given given the premise that she's overweight.

It is, however, more likely than not, as "obese" is not a particularly flattering word to describe weight, so I voted #2.
