I thought every single aspect was worse than the original. It was still passable, though.
The voice acting of everyone is worse (especially Lumierre), adding the subplot where Gaston tries to murder Belle's dad does nothing except make him more of a villain when he was already a villain in the original, and I really didn't like the Beast song they added. By that point in the movie you already know what he's thinking and feeling, so it adds nothing, and it screws with the pacing of Belle rushing back to the village to save her father.
