I go back and forth between Rockstar and Monster.

But back in the day, Bawls was king.

I use rockstar because their sugarfree flavors are good. I prefer jolt.

Oh, and I guess I should point out that I frequently got AMP back when it was made with Mountain Dew. Now it's just, yeah.

I've only had Bawls, Red Bull and NOS of those.
Red Bull had no effect
NOS I don't remember if it effected me at all, had that 10 years ago or so.
Bawls is the best one and the only one that I have had multiple times.

Never had Four Loco but I have had (the original form of) Sparks. The stuff they don't make any more.

I say this as someone sponsored by Red Bull: it's not Red Bull

Out of the choices, Rockstar, although I'm hella nostalgic for Bawls and still love it, but I like to go zero calorie/sugar which Rockstar does best.

I drink a Kickstart basically every day though, just sipping on it for a few hours and just love it. 80 calories, low sugar, mild caffeine. Hits just right.

The base versions of Rockstar, Red Bull and Monster (and all energy shots) taste like absolute garbage. I hate them.

But many of the Sugar Free Rockstars taste great (much better than their sugared counterparts, I have no idea why) and the base versions of Full Throttle and Amp are good (and some of the flavors of Amp also taste well)

Full Throttle tastes the best though, by a wide wide margin.

As far as what provides good enough energy, the shots are the best of course, but I've had good results on the energy front from most of them I've tried.

It was never made using Mountain Dew. That was just a logo that was slapped on the can to show that AMP is made by the same company that makes Mountain Dew.
