good. the initial fear of this all coming to hit me at once after things settled a bit still hasn't been the case. may well be that i'm not wired to really grieve much. dunno if my attitude there's affected mom or vice versa but both of us are moving along well.

the story's bad but dealing with it is only really difficult when it's overwhelming because you've too much to do. once things are slowed down to a pace which can be managed, it's easier. emotionally just isn't affecting me that much, which is good. did realize when i saw the phone earlier that it's now been a month since the cops came. hell of a busy month.

Wow, my condolences. A month late but I only just saw this topic. Hairs went up on the back of my neck because this is the first time I'm hearing about this here, but reading through the topic, I remember seeing and reading an article about this. The story sounded familiar for many reason and the first thing on google had a picture that I remember seeing, and I remember her last name from the first article I read because it's the same last name as someone I knew a long time ago. Eerie circumstances. Anyway, that seems like an all-around really tragic situation and my heart goes out to you and your family. I wish I had seen this earlier to say it sooner :(
