What is it even about? His career is over. He can't even win a mayoral race after being a governor and having presidential aspirations and his family name is tarnished.
Just a lot of polarizing rhetoric. Not gracious at all.

CA polls 'bout to close. Now we just have to wait...like 2-4 weeks, maybe.

CA sucks when it comes to counting ballots.

Once you do the fusion voting, it looks like GOP wins. Not sure where the remaining 40% of the vote is though. That could matter a lot if it's Hempstead.

What's the problem with Frey?
There's nothing wrong with Frey, he actually pushes back against the most insane whims of the city council while still being fairly progressive. He's not even remotely centrist, just realistic about the reality of Minneapolis right now.

I had a feeling Omar would lose for the same reason I had a feeling the defund the police ballot initiative wouldn't pass a few years ago. It was anecdotal, but everyone i talked to that was vehemently pro-Omar or pro-defund didn't live in (and never had lived in) Minneapolis. They were all 1st and 2nd ring surburbanites. Even our protests are like, entirely suburbanites.

Omar Fateh. Minnesota senate member running for Mayor of Minneapolis. Another great candidate who was described as being the "Mamdani of the midwest" but didn't receive anywhere close to the amount of coverage Zohran got.

Here's his interview with Amy Goodman:

He came in second. Hope he runs again.

Jeffries and Schumer are trying to avoid a defund the police situation if Zohran ends up being terrible, is successfully sabotaged, or the right wing hate machine successfully toxifies him and the Dems by association. What they fail to realize is that the problem is right wing billionaire control of the media and whether they distance themselves or not, they will be associated with him for better and especially for worse. So all they're doing is pissing off their own and appearing tone deaf by shunning a guy with a pulse.

honestly surprised j jones in virginia won, i was damn sure a democrat openly talking about violence would fuck him. only republicans are allowed to talk about killing people for supporting abortions or carpet bombing cities for not falling in line.

the election in nyc looks wild. that republican candidate must hate the hell out of cuomo because honestly he might have cost him the win.

90% of votes counted and Mamdani has 50.4% of the vote, odds are pretty good that Mamdani has over 50% of the vote and thus Sliwa had no impact.

It adds non US citizens to the group of people not allowed to vote in TX. Completely moot point with federal elections as that's already covered with federal law. It does prevent them from participating in state and local elections though (something federal law doesn't touch).
We're surrounding you. We see you, but you probably don't see us. And if you see us, we're not letting on that we see you.
Apparently looks like 82% of voted for Prop 50 in california. Preliminary votes at least. That's a lot. I was thinking 60-70 at most.
Less is more. Everything you want, isn't everything you need.
Not sure why people are saying Frey won. Minneapolis is ranked choice. Frey is the front runner and probably going to win but there's a reason the AP hasn't called it yet.

It's not impossible but the odds are the vast majority of the ranked choice go to him.
