No, and fuck Ivan Moody especially. For telling fans (while having an onstage meltdown) that his mom passed away. This happened a few times, and shes still alive and well.

They are alright, they have a some good songs though they have gotten much worse over the years.

I do think people hate on them way too much, they are far from the worst metal band out there

I will admit, I did like them when I was in high school, but I fell out with them hard. Not helping their case is that their albums after like the third one especially tend to be absolutely terrible . Theory of a Deadman tier almost.

Also, Ivan sucks.

No, but for full disclosure I pretty much post 2000 just haven't really been into anyone and stay stuck in the past listening to music from the 60's through the 90's that I really really enjoy. Right at the end of the 90's there was a shift in my reaction to what music started coming out at the end of the 90's and early 2000's and just couldn't find much I liked so kind of gave up on new music. These guys didn't even have an album at that point and I don't think even existed until years after that so too new for me. Heard some stuff on the radio and thought it was generic like most of the other stuff of the time and just went back to the stuff I liked.

I like a few of their songs. I went to their concert in Little Rock AR several years back with a bunch of friends. I only saw like half the show because I accidentally left too early and they won't let you back in.

After like an hour and a half I snuck back in by climbing to the 2nd floor smoke area. There's more to this story but I want to keep it short lol.

Those are my thoughts, as well. I find them to be dishwater-level interesting, but their appeal seems to be rooted in not doing anything noteworthy.
