As an Iranian it tees me off when people judge Iran based on the government. Yes, way too many people supported the 1979 revolution, but it's narrow-minded to not acknowledge everyone and everything else.
Yeah but in this hypothetical we're talking about war. So unless this is a giant food fight we're talking about then I don't see how food or landmarks are more relevant to the conversation than politics, politicians, and what the people support with their votes or lack thereof.
