Looks like Trump and Bessent folded on SNAP and don't want to appeal the district court rulings.

I doubt they will just let SNAP get funded. I see a few things as options:

1- They only allow it to be funded for red states.

2- They ignore the judges anyway.
I hope not, lots of people need SNAP here in Alaska.

It's also much cheaper to cook at home now, and it's not even close.

I think we're slowly reaching a point where even cooking at home will no longer be cheap. Still cheaper than eating out, yes, but not cheap like it used to be.

Ground beef prices are up 12.9% and coffee prices are up a whopping 40% since last year.

used to be 4$ on sale. now it's 5$ (still cheaper than a meal at taco bell considering all the ingredients)

i'll still buy because it's a once a week luxury.
the coffee thing, some to most people drink that (they're paying arm and a leg for it every single day).

Yeah though I consider ground beef non essentials for cooking. Everything's gone up, but it hasn't exactly doubled like the average cost of lunch/dinner in restaurants. Green tea is still cheap for instance
