I'm of the same mindset. I realize they're banned in many countries. They're still legal in the U.S. I am not going to jump to conclusions, because they can be used responsibly. I follow a trainer on YT who uses aversive training tools - Larry Krohn.
Now, in the case of Hasan, I've heard of him but do not really follow him, but there's definitely a wrong way to use ecollars that is abusive. I do think they should only be sold to responsible training professionals. Where I live, they're very common.
